Flexographic Press manufacturer widens its range of solutions for the flexible packaging industry

GREEN BAY, Wis. — September 8, 2017 — Paper Converting Machine Company (PCMC), a Barry-Wehmiler company, is expanding its offerings as an innovative service-solutions partner with the acquisition of GraphBury Machines, a machine manufacturer and engineering services provider for the flexible packaging industry.

GraphBury has developed a wide range of products that improve flexographic printer’s production and performance. Their anilox laser washing unit offers customers the ability to clean ceramic and chrome anilox rolls of any line screen without causing surface wear. The laser technology works on all kinds of inks and vaporizes deposited particles inside of the cells with an unprecedented efficiency.

“We are extremely excited to welcome the GraphBury team to the PCMC family,” said Steve Kemp, PCMC President. “The talent and knowledge that GraphBury brings with them will strengthen our ability to provide value to our existing customer while remaining responsive to emerging market technologies and innovation.”

“This acquisition marks the beginning of a new era in providing high performance and innovative solutions,” says Rodney Pennings, Value Stream Leader. “We are looking forward to collaborating and creating additional value for our customers.”
