Our Training Process
PCMC's product training team collaborates with PCMC engineering, manufacturing, customer service and you, our customer, to develop a training plan that meets your needs.
We do this by performing the following activities:
Initial Needs Analysis
. PCMC's product training manager will work with your
training team to determine the type of PCMC training
required to meet your organizations needs
. PCMC's product training manager will work jointly with your
training team to develop a customized training agenda and
task certification lists; based off of the trainees current skill
set and the skill set required to perform their jobs safely
and efficiently
Curriculum Development
PCMC product training team develops materials based on the outcome from the needs analysis process. These materials include; but are not limited to the following:
. Task Certification Lists
. Training Manuals
. Job Aids
. Quick Reference Guides
. Training Videos (principle of operation & task based)
. Training Models
Training Delivery
. PCMC delivers training designed for the three standard
disciplines; operation, mechanical maintenance, and
electrical maintenance
. Our training programs teach specific tasks required to
operate and maintain your PCMC equipment
. PCMC uses task based training principles to design,
develop, and deliver your training program
. We use small group training delivery to increase the
effectiveness and learning opportunities for each trainee
. Training sessions are designed with a balance of Classroom
Presentation and machine side "Hands-On" training delivery
to meet your team's specific needs
. Our "Tell, Show, Do" approach is an extremely effective
and efficient teaching method for adult learning
. First, we "Tell" the trainees how to perform the
required task
. Second, we "Show" the trainees how to perform the
required task
. Third, we have the trainees perform or "Do" the
required task
. Trainee's are certified on all tasks identified on the task
certification list
